Visão geral
MergeKit is a document merge add-on for Google Sheets™ that creates personalized documents and PDFs from your spreadsheet data. Generate certificates, training records and letters with your own Google Docs™ template, then keep output links and job status in the same sheet.

How it works

1. Prepare a native Google Docs™ template with simple tags such as <<Name>>, <<Course>> and <<Date>> that match your spreadsheet's column headers.
2. Open MergeKit in Google Sheets™ and choose your template and Google Drive™ output folder with Google's file picker.
3. Select the rows to process, set a filename pattern, and choose a Google Docs™ document, a PDF, or both.
4. Run the merge and open each finished document from its link in the sheet.

Keep recurring document work organized

- Reuse your template: MergeKit leaves the original unchanged and creates a separate merged document for each processed row.
- Choose what is ready: filter by a column and value, such as Ready = yes, or process all rows.
- Track results where you work: see each row's status, output links and any error beside the source data.
- Continue after corrections: retry failed rows with saved recovery information. Completed rows are skipped on later runs.
- Process new form responses: optionally enable a trigger on a linked Google Forms™ response spreadsheet. It runs as the person who enables it, including when the sidebar is closed, and can be disabled from MergeKit.

Plans and pricing

Choose a paid plan from the MergeKit sidebar. Prices are in USD:

- Free: 25 newly admitted merges per Google Account per UTC calendar month, shared across spreadsheets and Form automation.
- Teacher: $29/year for one account. A self-declared educator discount with unlimited MergeKit merges.
- Pro: $79/year for one account, with unlimited MergeKit merges.
- School or business Domain: $299/year flat for members of one Google Workspace™ domain verified through Google sign-in. Membership is required; administrator status is not.

Paid plans remove the MergeKit monthly cap; Google service quotas and product limits still apply. Each row counts when authorized for generation, before file creation, even if generation later fails. Doc and PDF together count once. An identical saved job with an existing billing grant never counts again. An unfinished pre-billing job, including version 2, uses one allowance on its first billing-authorized attempt if it has no earlier grant. Resetting a job creates a new allowance request. Completed rows remain skipped.

Free allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month and does not roll over. Paid jobs also count toward monthly usage; if paid access ends, Free has 25 minus that month's total usage remaining, with a minimum of zero. Existing saved-job grants remain reusable across month changes and cancellation.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each year. Cancel through the Stripe billing portal to stop the next renewal; otherwise eligible paid access continues through the current paid period. Uninstalling does not cancel billing. Switching between paid plans during an active subscription is not supported: cancel, wait for it to end, then buy another plan. Applicable tax, if any, is handled through Innova Apps' existing process outside Stripe. Stripe Checkout does not automatically calculate tax; contact support for tax or invoice questions before purchase.

New Pro subscriptions have Innova Apps' seven-day refund policy; contact support@innovaapps.ai within seven days to request it. Other refund requests are reviewed individually, and applicable rights remain unchanged. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund. A processed refund, payment dispute or fraud warning suspends the affected subscription’s paid access without cancelling renewal. Existing saved-job grants remain usable; another eligible paid plan or remaining Free allowance may still permit new jobs.

What you need

Use desktop Google Sheets™ in a web browser, a native Google Docs™ template and an output folder where you can create files. Your organization may require administrator approval. Optional form automation requires a form linked to the configured response spreadsheet and uses the trigger owner's plan, not the respondent's.

Templates use literal, case-sensitive text tags. Loops, expressions, image tags and imported settings from other add-ons are not supported. PDF-only mode also retains a Google Docs™ document for recovery. Avoid editing or sorting the sheet during a merge. An interrupted operation can require manual review before retry; resetting a job can create additional outputs. An unknown billing state is shown as unavailable, not silently treated as Free or unlimited.

Your files and data

Document processing uses Google's hosted scripting, document and storage services. Recovery snapshots contain source values and template text in ordinary spreadsheet cells visible to editors. Outputs follow the destination folder's access rules. The billing service verifies Google identity and stores account, subscription and usage metadata plus opaque job IDs/digests; it does not receive raw document/template content or Drive file IDs. Stripe hosts checkout and billing management. MergeKit does not email merged documents or automatically change file-sharing permissions.

Billing records have no automatic deletion. Contact support for verified manual access or deletion review; removing grants can affect saved-job retries. Cancellation, uninstalling and data deletion are separate actions. See the product privacy and terms pages for details.
