'Music from Drive' is an online music player for Google Drive.

To use the player, just log in from your Google account without additional registration.

Current main features of 'Music from Drive' player:

Excellent ! Works right of the bat if you read the few simple instructions. Brave browser, I enabled cookies for this specific website. Question: where is the playlist created ? Locally to that device ? Any way to share a playlist across devices ? I would not like to have to create the same playlist on each device.

I am writing this as both a review and a small guide for installation. It works very well for me overall. The layout was a bit confusing, but not awful. When installing you need to go into drive and press the connect more apps button. Then, search for it. Following this, install it and it should appear in the Open With tab. If you try to install it from a different tab, then it won't appear. Hopefully, this helps other people who can't get it to show up.

OK, this is pretty useless given that its not exactly an obscure ask. All I want to do is play albums (not playlists) from drive. It just doesn't do it. Can't find any reference to it either. Makes me wonder why I'm paying google for extra space to store my music online with them if they can't do better than this.

Just sits there with its little circle spinning in the center of a white screen forever instead of playing a file. Maybe it's Google's problem. Seems like audio players will install, but none of them will play any audio files. I'm signed in, and no log in problems are indicated. They just won't play any audio files.

Works perfectly. The only issue that it cannot play directly folders. So you have to select files and then create playlists.
