The Nearpod Google Slides™ Add-on allows you to add the magic of Nearpod directly in Google Slides™.  The Google Slides™ add-on is limited to paid Nearpod licenses.

To use the Nearpod Google Slides add-on: 

1. Open your Google Slide presentation 

2. Click: on the "Extensions" menu in the top toolbar 

3. Hover: over "Add-ons" and select "Get add-ons" 

4. Search and install “Nearpod” 

5. Follow the prompt to grant the add-on permission to access your Google account and data 

6. Begin building your lessons with Nearpod in Google Slides™ 

This Nearpod Add-on  is compatible with Google Slides™ and Google Drive™.

Nearpod allows even short lectures to become interactive with students who may be afraid to answer out loud in class. This turns a good class into a wonderful class in which we all work together

Hate it!!!!! Never works, won let me open things in other settings. Can get it off of my desktop or chrome book Worst thing I have ever had to deal with.

Use to love this add-on and have used it extensively. Disappointed, however, that the add-on does not work for users of the free version of Nearpod any longer. This is unfortunate, because this was one tool I was giving my future teachers experience with. Now that they have made the Nearpod add-on unavailable to us free version users of Nearpod, it is difficult to allow my students to work collaboratively on lessons - esp since Nearpod is not really built to allow for collaborative lesson building. Profits come first I guess...so disappointed.

Wow!! I am in the middle of creating a module to help teachers at my school use Nearpod, to show them how easy it is to use Nearpod through Gooogle Slides. In the middle of creating a screencast of how easy it is to get the add on and boom. Now you have to pay. It was a great way to introduce teachers to new technology. Six weeks into my design for my grad school assignment, I have to change it because now you want to charge for this add-on. Really teachers spend enough of their own money. This is unfair to utilize the add on. I know there are other ways to create Nearpod's but this is by far the best and most comfortable for teachers new to the platform. I love Nearpod and will pay Gold for myself. However, I cannot expect my partner teachers to do the same, or my school to pick up the tab on this. Frustrating to say the least.

*THINGS to DO to Become An ACHIEVER* *1. Kill your Excuses and procrastination.* *2. Destroy every form of distraction.* *3. Avoid associating with negative minds. This is simply because they have problem with every solution.* *4. Hang out with people who are more knowledgeable than you are.* *5. Build mutual relationships with those who are already where you want to be.* *6. Always feed your Focus.* *7. Be patient and consistent in what you do.* *8. Add value to people's lives.* *9. Have a written goal and clearly define your purpose.* *10. Visualize where you want to be and be ready to pay the Price to get there.* *NOTE!!!* A lot of people will tell you that something is Not going to work or become successful. It’s your choice whether you listen to them, or prove them wrong. A negative mind will never give you a positive life! *Don't let small minded persons with little dreams convince you that your dreams are too big.* Definitely successful people have fears, doubts, and worries! But they just don't let those feelings stop them. They don't give up. They go the extra mile until they achieve success...
