Überblick
NeatDrive is a Google Drive™ audit tool. It shows you who can open your files, and what is quietly using your storage. Connect your Google Drive™ and NeatDrive scans your file metadata to surface findings you can act on — no file contents are read.

NeatDrive audits the Google Drive™ account of the person who connects it. It is not a domain-wide Workspace audit, and it does not read other people's Drives. Shared drives can be included in a scan, which requires broader access than a metadata-only scan — Google only lists shared drives to apps that can read or change them.

Sharing exposure — files shared publicly by link, or with people outside your organization, listed by name
Duplicate detection — duplicate files using storage you could reclaim
Unfiled files — files sitting loose in your Drive root instead of in a folder
Drive Health Score — an overall score for your Drive, with the issues behind it broken out by type
Action Plan — review what was found, stage the changes you want, and approve them before anything runs
Integrity Checker — a tamper-evident audit log of every change made through NeatDrive

NeatDrive requests read-only access to scan your own Drive. Any change to your Drive is staged for you to review, and nothing runs until you approve it.

NeatDrive performs a metadata-only audit by default — it reads file names, sizes, dates and sharing information, not file contents. File contents are only analyzed for opt-in features like AI renaming, on files you specifically select.

Seeing what's exposed is free — the free audit lists every exposed file by name. Applying changes requires a paid plan.
