This add-on sets up custom formulas NUMBERTEXT and MONEYTEXT that help you to be more productive.
Numbertext is a tool for translating numbers into their designation in words.
For example the formula '=NUMBERTEXT(347)' returns 'three hundred forty-seven' and the formula '=MONEYTEXT("USD 5")' returns 'Five U.S. dollars'.

Works great! Been using it for project in French, English and Portuguese and multiple currencies with no trouble at all. Only thing: The functions did not appear in sheets after installing the add-on, when I needed to use it for the first time. I had to go to Extensions --- NumberText --- Samples in order to get the window to approve the Extension. Great job!

Hello Alexander i am using formula in one sheet but it is not working in other sheet in same email. Please give me a solution about it. If i reinstall than it will effect in other sheet or not. I am waiting for your response. Best regards chy

Thanks for this add-on. Very helpful with the pay slip template I am doing. However, I noticed there are amounts that it is returning blank, specifically when that amount is computed via formula. Try out this data: A1 : 8,559.82 A2 : 5,100.00 A3 : =A1-A2 A4 : =MONEYTEXT(A3) I hope this gets fixed soon. Thank you!

What is to be done for Rupees in Lacs? In India, we write Rs. 100000 as One Lac only and not as One Hundred Thousand.
