i would have given it 5 star as this app seems promising (haven´t using it for long), but it seriously lacking some speed. I understand it being online apps and stuff but there other similar apps with significantly faster speed for opening file and editing. In term of functionality and feature, this app is better than the rest online office apps I have tried on google chrome and I use chromebook, so I tried a lot

Saved. My. Bacon. Google Docs is great for many reasons, but doesn't have advance editing functions, i.e. "keep with next" or orphan control. OnlyOffice has it all, smooth as silk. I had tried using Office 365, etc. but nothing, paid or free, was providing the functions I needed. This app is literally better than something you'd pay for.

Very snappy, smooth, familiar feel using this to open MS Office Files in Google Drive. The editing options are way better than anything Google Apps can offer, but not completely up to par with MS Word or PowerPoint. Nevertheless, this was a much needed option whose existence delights me. After 2 years of rigorous daily Google Apps for Education use in the classroom I am happy that my students and I won't have to worry about file conversion fidelity loss when working across platforms. The only drawback is that the work I did on a MS Word .DOCX file opened from my Drive was never saved back to the copy in my Google Drive. That's not a problem Google Docs ever gave me.

My document is stuck loading at 100%, and I need it urgently. Support staff 'Eugenia' is extremely unhelpful and insensitive, she refuses to help because my account is free. Would never use their service again and would NOT recommend to anyone!

Comparable to, or better than, Google's editor in terms of capabilities. My biggest complaint is that the line spacing panel stays open on the right; there is no way to hide it. Also allows you to easily transfer files from one cloud service to another. I don't know of any other method that works as well on a Chrome computer.

Unfortunately this operates SO slowly on our slow Internet connection that it is virtually unusable. I don't seem to suffer such slow speeds with other apps so don't understand why, but even setting up a 'New' document takes several minutes to load and start. I like the interface and ease of use, but with the speed could be improved somehow.

Echt perfect. na een aantal dagen sukkelen met mijn nieuwe chromebook ben ik hierop uitgekomen.Het staat je toe alle clouds te linken en het gedoe met google documents en word documenten enzo is volledig voorbij. Ook zijn de instellingen gelijkaardig als bij word, bij google documents durfde wel eens iets verspringen en dat heb ik bij deze app nog niet meegemaakt.

I switched to a Chromebook at the beginning of this year and put all my documents in the cloud (mostly Google Drive). This app is great -- basically MS Word for free! As for those who complain about speed -- sure, it's slower to go over the network than to a local disk, but no more than expected. This app has made the move to Chromebook/cloud much smoother for me.

Love it. Saved my life since I was so frustrated trying to edit word documents in Google Docs. Some formatting just doesn't show very well and it was difficult collaborating. Love it and it's free.
