Like others have said, this is misleading! I want to put a password on my active document that has sensitive info incase I am hacked because I have been in the past. This is no help for that. This only puts a password on documents you download and share and has nothing to do with an actual google doc. I gave one star because I can't give negative. Boo!

Pretty misleading! If you need to protect one of your active google sheets which contains sensitive information with a password, what is the point of saving it as a PDF?

It has been awhile since I used this and I can't remember my password. I think it just started auto saving. But I'm not for sure. With such a great app, I am surprised that I got busy & completely forgot about it. TONS OF TIMES I NEEDED IT and REALLY glad I am looking over my apps and saw this one!

You have to click on a DOCUMENT and select OPEN WITH and then select Password Protect. You can then select the document (again?) and then set a password. It will then resave the document in the same folder it was in as a PDF. The original doc will NOT be password protected, but the new PDF will. It doesn't appear that you can password protect folders.

So the plugin creates a PDF that it passwrod protects, but the original document can still be read? This doesn't seem practical enough for me.
