Photopea is a web-based photo and graphics editor. It is used for image editing, making illustrations, web design or converting between different image formats. Photopea is advertising-supported software. It is compatible with all modern web browsers, including Safari, Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. The app is compatible with raster and vector graphics, such as Photoshop's PSD as well as JPEG, PNG, DNG, GIF, SVG, PDF and other image file formats. While browser-based, Photopea stores all files locally, and does not upload any data to a server.

Was great until the mandatory ads started kicking in. And I don't usually mind ads too much- I'd gladly watch ads on here because I believe that you have earned that extra revenue. When the ads actually load, that is, which the ones on Photopea do not no matter what device or browser I use. I do not have any active adblockers either and furthermore do not have this problem with any other app or site. And since Photopea is so good for editing, I'd gladly pay for a Premium subscription- but when I go to make an account on the app where I mainly use it, it just gives me a blank screen. So I literally can't even use the app anymore, which makes me sad because I really liked using it before. Too bad, I guess.

I have used photoshop for years... I had a CS6 license, although I had to get rid of my old computer, effectively losing my license. I love photoshop, but wasn't as excited about paying $21/month for the subscription. I stumbled across the online version of Photopea, when I was trying to do a simple photo makeover. Anyone who is familiar with the photoshop shortcuts and navigations will feel right at home. It's absolutely amazing that this is free. He could easily charge a hundred or more for this and I would still buy it in a heartbeat. The subscription is only $3.33/month. Super worth it if you don't have an ad blocker. Thank you for saving me$18/month! Btw, most of the bad reviews are just people who don't have experience with photoshop... it is a bit of a learning curve, but youtube is a wonderful teacher. If you learn how to use this amazing tool, you'll be able to do practically anything you want to with Photopea.
