Pinpoint turns a column of addresses into Latitude and Longitude columns, right inside Google Sheets™.

Pick the column that holds the addresses, check what the panel says will happen, press Geocode. That is
the whole flow.

WHAT YOU GET, FREE
• Addresses → coordinates, using the Google Maps™ geocoder built into Google Apps Script™.
• Two-pass search: a precise pass biased to your sheet's country, then a wider pass for what the first
  one missed. Anything the wider pass found is marked APPROX — never passed off as exact.
• Incremental by default: rows that already have coordinates are skipped, so a second run only geocodes
  the new rows. No more redoing the whole sheet.
• A dry run before anything is written: how many addresses will be geocoded, how many are skipped, and
  exactly which columns the results go to.
• Your data is never overwritten. Results go into three new columns — Latitude, Longitude and Geocode
  status — inserted next to your address column. Rows where those cells already contain your own text
  are left untouched and reported as such.
• Honest failures: an address Google cannot resolve is marked NOT_FOUND and can be retried with one
  button; a rate limit or an exhausted allowance stops the run and says so, instead of poisoning your
  rows with a wrong answer.
• A visible usage counter over the real 24-hour window, plus the first result shown on a map.

PERMISSIONS
One permission, and the narrowest one there is: "See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google
Sheets™ spreadsheet this application is used in". Pinpoint cannot see your other spreadsheets, your
Drive or your mail. There is no server of ours anywhere in the flow — geocoding is done by Google Apps
Script™'s built-in service, running as you. Nothing about you or your sheets is sent to us, and there is
