PixelCinch compresses and resizes the images in your Google Drive™ without downloading a single file.

Pick the images you want, choose a size, and the compressed versions are written straight back where they came from. No downloading, no re-uploading, no waiting in a server queue.

WHAT IT DOES

• Bulk image compression — select as many images as you like and process them in one run. A recent run took 12 files from 81.3 MB down to 1.5 MB in 22 seconds.
• Resize by longest edge or percentage, or keep the original dimensions.
• Convert between JPEG, PNG and WebP — or let PixelCinch pick the right format for each image. Transparent logos become WebP instead of JPEG, so they stay transparent and don't get bigger.
• HEIC from your iPhone is decoded natively, alongside JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF and AVIF.
• Shared drives work exactly like your own. If you only have view access, PixelCinch still processes the images and saves the results to your own Google Drive™ instead of failing halfway.
• Pick whole folders, not just single files. Select a folder and every image inside it joins the run.
• No file size limit. A 43 MB photo is handled the same way as a 400 KB one.
• Right-click any image in Google Drive™, choose Open with, and PixelCinch opens with your selection already loaded.

YOUR IMAGES NEVER LEAVE YOUR DEVICE

Compression runs inside your browser. Your browser downloads the file, compresses it locally, and uploads the result back. The bytes travel between you and Google — there is no PixelCinch server in that path, because there is no server doing the work.

We store an account record and a monthly counter. Nothing else. We never see your images, their names, or the folders they live in.

PERMISSIONS

PixelCinch asks for two Google Drive™ permissions, both of them non-sensitive.

drive.file grants access to the individual files you pick yourself through Google's own file picker, plus files PixelCinch creates. It cannot list, search, or read anything else you keep there.

drive.install grants no file access at all. It only lets PixelCinch appear in the "Open with" menu, so you can right-click an image and send it straight to the app. A file opened that way is covered by drive.file, like any other file you pick yourself.

We also request openid and email to recognise your account and apply the monthly counter to the right plan.

PRICING

Free for 100 images a month, with every feature included — shared drives, HEIC, any file size, all output formats. Pro removes the monthly cap for $5 a month or $36 a year. Nothing else changes between the plans.
