So glad this is here. It's painful to screenshot plantUML and paste into Google Docs.

Awesome. With this, I can include and edit my PlantUML diagrams without leaving Google Docs. The only shortcomings are as pointed out by Mark Grand, some of which are outside of the Author's control.

I gave five stars because I'm happy that PlantUML is available in docs. But there are some drawbacks as it was mentioned in other comments also: - PlantUML data is not stored on drive. What happens if the webserver won't be reachable anymore? Will we loose our data? - editor should be resizable

I'd like to use, but it may not be functional for the latest Google Docs. The "Edit Settings" is not functioning, so you cannot add the PlantUML server. There were also errors about authorization. If I can get some help/clarification I'll try it again.

This is an attempt to include PlantUML in Docs and Slides... However no editor is included and it does not allow one to save the .plantuml files on Google Drive, and refer to those from within the Docs and Slides apps. The editor used is PlanyUML org, which is fine - IF it allowed to save the source to Google Drive. All in all, it's useful if your're in a hurry, but not smart if you want to reuse your PlantUML source.

Very useful add-on. Actually, I was waiting for it :) just as an improvement, it would be better to have plantuml code embedded in the document itself not in a side window and of course it would be hidden by default

I tried to create a UML class diagram but this tool seems limited to a single row and I quickly ended up with an unusable, very wide diagram. It's a nice idea, but perhaps only for very simple diagrams

I've been using this for an hour and so far it seems quite good. One observation: the panel can be too narrow for wider diagrams such as sequence diagrams with many lanes. It'd be nice to have the width of the side panel be adjustable.
