Premium Tracker is a Google Sheets add-on that serves as both a complete trade log and an intelligence engine for wheel strategy traders. Log every covered call and cash-secured put, and Premium Tracker grades each one on a 7-factor score, tracks your return on capital, analyzes your delta discipline over time, and projects your annual income run rate — all inside a pre-built spreadsheet that requires no formulas to set up.

**What it does**

When you install Premium Tracker, it creates a pre-built 6-tab spreadsheet in your Google Drive:

**Transaction Log** — Your only input surface. Enter covered calls and cash-secured puts using dropdown menus for action type (Sell to Open, Buy to Close, Expired, Assigned, Rolled), strike, expiry, contracts, and premium per contract. P&L columns calculate automatically. A Group ID links each open to its matching close. Optional fields for delta at entry and bid/ask at fill unlock two additional scoring dimensions.

**Positions (Grouped)** — Opens and closes are consolidated into single position lifecycle rows. Each closed position shows net P&L, days held, strike distance from the underlying at entry, outcome, return on capital (ROC), annualized ROC, delta at entry, and a letter grade (A–F) with a numeric score (0–100).

**Weekly Summary** — Premium income aggregated by calendar week, with totals and a weekly average row.

**Monthly Summary** — Premium income aggregated by month with running YTD cumulative totals and a monthly average row.

**Dashboard** — Auto-updated metric cards: YTD Premium Income, Projected Annual Income, Average Weekly Income, and Average Trade Grade. Also includes a Top Tickers table, Performance Stats (win rate, average P&L, best/worst trade, average days held), a Delta Analysis table showing your win rate and average P&L by delta bracket, and an Execution Quality section showing how close your fills were to the ask price across all trades.

**Trade Scoring System**

Every closed position receives a 0–100 numeric score and A–F letter grade based on seven weighted components:

• Strike Precision (25%) — How close the stock finished to your strike at expiry or close
• Outcome Efficiency (20%) — Whether the trade ended the way your strategy intended
• Premium Efficiency (20%) — Weekly income yield relative to capital at risk and time held
• Capital Efficiency (10%) — Annualized return on capital deployed
• Trade Management (10%) — Quality of entry, adjustments, and exit
• Delta Discipline (10%) — Whether your entry delta fell in the 0.15–0.35 wheel sweet spot (optional)
• Execution Quality (5%) — How close your fill was to the ask price — maximum premium captured (optional)

The scoring is strategy-aware: a covered call that expires worthless earns top marks (the ideal outcome), while a cash-secured put that expires worthless is penalized (assignment was the goal). The optional Delta Discipline and Execution Quality components auto-normalize out of the score when those fields are not logged — the 5-factor baseline always works.

Grade scale: A (90–100) · B (80–89) · C (70–79) · D (60–69) · F (below 60)

**Return on Capital**

Every closed position shows ROC % (net P&L ÷ capital at risk) and Annualized ROC — giving you a capital-efficiency view alongside raw dollar income. Capital at risk is calculated correctly by strategy type: stock value for covered calls, cash secured for puts.

**Delta Intelligence**

The Dashboard's Delta Analysis table breaks your trading history into delta brackets (0.01–0.10, 0.11–0.20, 0.21–0.30, 0.31–0.40, 0.41–0.50) and shows your win rate, average P&L, and average score per bracket — revealing which delta range actually performs best in your own history.

**Income Projections**

The dashboard computes projected annual income by averaging your premium across all active weeks and multiplying by 52 — a realistic forward estimate based on your actual trading history, not hypothetical assumptions.

**How to use**

1. Install Premium Tracker from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. Open the newly created spreadsheet in your Google Drive.
3. Enter trades in the Transaction Log tab using the provided dropdown menus.
4. Open the Premium Tracker menu in the top menu bar and click "Refresh Positions."
5. Your Positions tab, Weekly and Monthly summaries, and Dashboard update automatically.

**Free tier includes all features listed above.** No credit card required. Your trade data stays entirely within your own Google Sheet — Premium Tracker never reads or stores data outside of your Drive.
