Stop defending a number you don't believe.

What are the odds you'll hit your deadline? And what could you change to improve them?

ProjectCare Insight turns project uncertainty into a decision you can explore. Start with your best guesses for each task (fastest, likely, slowest) in the Google Sheets™ spreadsheet you already use. It shows the odds of hitting your deadline and what you could change to improve them.

ProjectCare Insight is free.

HOW IT WORKS: FIVE STEPS
1. LOAD DATA. Pick the tab with your tasks, press Load and choose which tasks to include. No plan yet? The Plan template menu creates a sample or blank plan.
2. SET THE QUESTION. Ask for your chance of finishing by a deadline ("what's our chance of finishing by day 60?") or for the days you need at a chosen confidence level ("how many days do we need to be fairly sure?"). In the app, this setting is named Target.
3. SET THE APPROACH. See your plan as written next to Careful, Stretch, Under my Limits, I set the asks and your own named cards. Each card states what it asks of the organisation: budget flexibility, schedule flexibility, scope clarity, scope reduction, expected rework, risk appetite and estimate quality, within limits you set. Some cards suggest the asks that would help most within those limits and show the odds you would get.
4. INSPECT AND TUNE. See the finish curve and each task's share of schedule risk. A Plan structure check flags bottleneck tasks (every route runs through them) and lopsided estimates (a few tasks carry most of the risk). These are signals about the plan's structure, not probabilities. Edit a task's guesses or its slowest case, re-run the odds and switch between Original and Tuned to see what changed.
5. RECOMMENDATIONS. Get one recommended card for your question, the asks it needs, what it changes compared with the plan as written and why or why not for every card. Results that are effectively equal are called a tie. Export a briefing of the Run as a Markdown file.

TIMELINE
See your linked schedule for any card: the critical path, a likely finish, the buffer to plan for and which tasks to protect.

COMPARE
Put every card you ran side by side: finish curves, each card's basis and gap versus the plan, what each ask contributes to the finish, how much more the right asks could help within the same limits and where your next ask buys the most.

EVERY NUMBER IS LABELLED
Preview is a fast estimate computed in your browser. Network uses your linked schedule in the add-on's Google Apps Script™. Each result says how it was made. If a number cannot be worked out, the app says so instead of showing a placeholder.

ASK AI (OPTIONAL, BRING YOUR OWN OPENAI KEY)
Ask questions in plain language about your last Run. Answers are built only from that Run's results, and any number in a reply that is not in the results is underlined "not in results". Ask AI uses OpenAI (https://openai.com), a third-party AI service, with your own OpenAI API key. Your key is stored in your own Google account's script settings and is never shown back. Nothing is sent unless you add a key and press Send. When you press Send, the add-on sends your question and a summary of your current results to OpenAI's API: card names, asks, durations and the names of the riskiest tasks. OpenAI bills your own OpenAI account for that usage.

YOUR DATA
ProjectCare Insight reads only the Sheet tab you choose. Calculations run in your browser and in the add-on's own Google Apps Script™ code; no iCareNOW calculation service is involved. The only outside service the add-on can contact is OpenAI, for Ask AI as described above. Settings and records you save are stored with your spreadsheet. The add-on writes to your Sheet only when you ask, for example to create a plan template or save an edited task.

WHAT IT IS NOT
• Not a promise. Every number is an estimate based on your inputs and stated assumptions, not a commitment that the project will finish on time.
• Not a measured model of your organisation. How much each ask helps comes from ProjectCare's built-in what-if model, not from a measurement of your organisation. Read card gains as "what-if under ProjectCare's assumptions".
• Not blind to its limits. Tasks are considered separately, so risks with a shared cause (same team, vendor or weather) can spread wider than shown. The app says so.
• Not a scheduling tool. It is built for estimate decisions in Google Sheets™.
