Easily schedule and join Microsoft Teams meetings directly from Google Workspace. Stay connected and get more done together using video and audio conferencing, screen sharing, meeting chat, digital whiteboards, and more.  

Notes: 

Currently, you need to have a Microsoft work or school account to use the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-on.  

Meetings scheduled with this add-on only appear on your Google calendar. Contact your Teams administrator to have them enable syncing between your Google and Teams calendars - https://learn.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/connect-teams-essentials-to-email 

How the add-on works: 

Sign in to the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-on with your Microsoft work or school account. Go to your Google Workspace calendar to schedule a meeting, and then specify that it’s a Microsoft Teams meeting. Invite anyone with an email address. Your invitees will get an invitation with a couple of ways to join the meeting: a link to join the meeting, as well as information about how to dial in via phone if they need to.

Does not work well with Google Calendar, constantly has issues trying to log-in saying I don't have an account, yet I can go to Teams site directly and log-in without issues!

Very flaky: As of October 2025 it works sometimes, errors others, show appscript permissions errors occasionally too. There is no way to report an issue with Microsoft and it causes no end of support tickets for our Admins. When it works, it's fine, does the job nicely, it's just that getting it to work is just blind luck.

As other reviewers have stated, I don't need Google calendar integration with my work Teams account. At work, I use Outlook. What I need is to be able to integrate my personal Teams account with my Google calendar. Disappointed.

Very unhelpful that it is not possible to integrate with personal gmail - only work or school account. Not everyone has a work or school account but we still want to be able to integrate microsoft teams meeting with our personal gmail

Would have marked it -5 stars if I could. What is the point of having an add-in only to a work MS Teams account!? How does that make sense??? If you have a work MS Teams then why in the world would you need to use a google calendar!? You would then already have Outlook!!! The add-in which would be WAY MORE helpful is one where you can connect your personal MS Teams account to your Google Calendar!

The Microsoft Teams add on does not work! Went through all the procedure and provided all the info to find out it does mot work for personal gmail. This is not whai is advertized!

same issue.. after installing, there's no way to choose the Teams Meetings option. No errors, but unfortunately nothing changes after installing.
