This Add-on helps you to quickly format your Google Doc™ if you have copied and pasted from an outside source such as ChatGPT™ or othe markdown text.

If a carriage return was used to create white space between paragraphs, use this Add-on Remove Blank Lines by AliceKeeler to quickly eliminate "paragraphs" that do not have text.

A fellow teacher and I had copied hundreds of questions from Canvas into a shared question bank. There were about 1500 lines of added blank space. This add-on cut our document down by 30 pages in just a few seconds. I am sure it will be even more useful as I play with it in the future!

As someone with 0 computer coding understanding was asking google in the dumbest way how to fix this problem when copying from ChatGPT, found this in Linkedln and was incredibly simple without needing to understand macros etc and some of the other terms posts referred to. Thank you!

Great work Alice! How about a feature request? My bugbear with copy and pasting to Google Docs is ordered and unordered lists are not converted. Would it be possible to convert them?
