RouteTally is a Google Sheets™️ add-on that instantly calculates the time and distance for routes between multiple locations. Simply enter your destinations, and RouteTally will provide accurate travel estimates directly within your spreadsheet.

Basic Usage

Using the add-on is simple.
- Start by telling the add-on where the locations are in your spreadsheet
- Designate miles or kilometers and the transit type
- Click run
The add-on creates a new worksheet with a route based on your inputs. The free features include a list of the stops, time and distance to each, and a link to the route in Google Maps.
With a paid subscription, you can send the route to your phone, optimize the order, and more.

Pricing

Free Tier
Basic usage of the add-on is free. This includes:
- Multi-stop route creation in miles or kilometers
- Choose between driving, walking, transit and bicycling
- List of stops with distance and time
- Link to route in Google Maps

Premium Tier
You can subscribe for $9 / month from inside the add-on. Remember to use your Google account’s email. Premium access includes:

Limitations

RouteTally generally allows for a maximum of 23 waypoints per request using a paid Google account. This includes the origin and destination, meaning you can effectively have 21 intermediate stops. However, if you're using a non-paid Google account, the limit is reduced to 10 waypoints, effectively 8 intermediate stops.
