Overview
The Gmail to Notion add-on lets you easily save email messages from Gmail to your Notion database. While you are reading a message in Gmail, click the Notion icon in the sidebar to open the Gmail add-on, select your workspace and it will be sent to Notion instantly.

The Gmail addon can only send emails in plain text and support for rich formatting will be included in a future release.

The addon is developed by Amit Agarwal, Google Developer Expert and creator of several popular Google Workspace addons including Document Studio and Mail Merge with Attachments.

It's a pretty good start, but the fact that it doesn't save the URL into the URL field of the Notion note is a huge drawback. I'm not sure I can live with this the way it is. I look forward to improvements and will keep looking for another solution.

Yeah this thing doesn't work too well. The plain text version of the email did make it to Notion, so that at least worked for me. Issue 1: The subject of the email shows as the title before I send it, but when I send the note to Notion the title in the database is blank. Issue 2: It doesn't show all databases, not even the one I specifically allowed access to.

I selected all databases, I didn't get a quarter of them, and didn't get ones I want to send emails to... So not helpful.

Great add-on. I use it all the time. My only gripe is that it forgets the database that I last selected at times, so it requires some effort to go through the select field and find the database again. But other than that, this extension is working beautifully. 👍🏻

Works like a charm! I can even edit the page before saving it. Of course, it is only plain text for now, but it still saves me a lot of copy-pasting!
