scanE's multi-step process provides uses two layers of scans to calculate a rating that's over 97% accurate:

- Layer 1: scanE uses an algorithm developed by reviewing 100s of AI-generated emails to scan for common AI elements, like phrases, formatting, punctuation, emojis, and email tracking links.

- Layer 2: The Sapling AI Detector uses machine learning to scan the email at the sentence level for tone, style, phrasing, and sentence structure.
