Sheet Audit Pack is a Google Sheets™ add-on that analyzes the active workbook and generates structured audit reports without leaving your spreadsheet.

Open the sidebar from the add-on menu, configure your audit in seconds, and click Generate. The add-on inspects your sheets and produces the outputs you choose — directly inside your workbook exported as a Google Docs™ report to a Google Drive™ folder you select.

── WHAT IT CHECKS ──

• Broken References — cells showing #REF!, #NAME?, #VALUE!, #N/A, #DIV/0! and other errors
• Formula Consistency — outlier formulas that deviate from the dominant column pattern
• External Links — IMPORTRANGE, IMPORTDATA, IMPORTXML and other external data dependencies
• Volatile Formulas — NOW, TODAY, RAND, INDIRECT, OFFSET and other frequently-recalculating functions
• Hidden Structure — hidden sheets and excessive merged cells
• Validation Rules — data validation coverage per sheet
• Conditional Formatting — rule counts and complexity signals
• Protections & Named Ranges — governance gaps in formula-heavy sheets
• Risk Score — an overall 0–100 workbook risk score with a factor breakdown

• Audit Summary sheet — executive summary with risk score, priority findings, and recommended actions
• Audit Issues Log sheet — one row per issue with severity, sheet, cell, formula evidence, and recommendation
• Audit Formula Map sheet — dominant formula patterns, outlier counts, and sample formulas per column
• Google Docs™ report — a formatted, shareable report saved to a Google Drive™ folder you choose via the built-in folder picker

── FLEXIBLE CONFIGURATION ──

Choose which sheets to analyze (all, visible only, or a manual selection), which checks to run, and which outputs to generate. Configuration is saved per user so the sidebar remembers your choices between sessions.

── RISK SCORING ──

0–24  Low      — workbook is stable and handoff-ready
25–49 Moderate — usable but with issues worth addressing
50–74 High     — structural issues should be resolved before operational use
75–100 Severe  — multiple critical signals; not yet handoff-ready

── PRIVACY ──

Sheet Audit Pack only reads the active spreadsheet and writes back to it. No spreadsheet data is sent to external servers. No user email addresses are logged. Per-user settings are stored locally via Google Apps Script™ user properties to remember your sidebar configuration between sessions.
