SheetMiles builds an IRS-style mileage log in Google Sheets™ from the appointments already on your Google Calendar™. No GPS app, no battery drain, no retyping trips at tax time.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open SheetMiles from Extensions in any Google Sheets™ spreadsheet.
2. Pick a calendar and a date range: last month, this year, last year or custom.
3. Enter your home or office address and choose how your days run: base → stops in order → back to base, a round trip for each appointment, or one-way chains.
4. Click "Build mileage log". Every event with a street address becomes a stop. SheetMiles calculates driving miles between stops with Google Maps™ and writes a "Mileage Log" tab and a "Mileage Summary" tab.

WHAT'S IN YOUR MILEAGE LOG
• Date, vehicle, start address, destination and business purpose (the event title) for every trip leg
• Category: business, personal, commuting, charity or medical
• Driving miles for each leg
• The IRS standard mileage rate in force on that trip date, and the dollar amount. 2026 rates are built in: 72.5¢/mile for January 1 – June 30, 2026 and 76¢/mile from July 1, 2026. Earlier years from 2022 are included too.

• Events need an address in their Location field to become a trip. Add one and rebuild.
