SheetPoet is a powerful Google Workspace Add-on designed to sync data between your Google Sheets™ and WordPress site. It allows you to automate and streamline tasks by executing custom functions on your WordPress site directly from Google Sheets™.

Whether you need to create posts, update users, or perform other custom actions, SheetPoet enables seamless integration. The add-on requires the WP Google Sheets™ Genie plugin to be installed on your WordPress site to function properly.

Getting Started:
Follow these steps to get the most out of SheetPoet:

1. Install the WordPress Plugin:
First, install and activate the SheetPoet plugin on your WordPress website.

2. Set Up the Plugin:
Navigate to your WordPress dashboard → SheetPoet plugin settings.

Define a custom function that performs an action you want, such as creating/updating posts, sending or importing data.

Save the settings after configuring the function.

3. Use the Add-on in Google Sheets™:
In your Google Sheet, go to Extensions > SheetPoet and choose preset.

A sidebar will open with prefilled values based on your plugin configuration.

4. Connect Your WordPress Site:
Enter your WordPress site URL and admin credentials into the sidebar.

Click the refresh icon next to the API method drop-down to load the available functions defined on your WordPress site.

Select the method that corresponds to the function you set up earlier in the WordPress plugin.

5. Customize Your Settings:
Add the required key-value pairs in the sidebar to customize the action.

These values will be sent to your WordPress site, where they will be processed by the function you defined in the plugin settings.

📌 Note:
This add-on is ideal for users with some technical experience. It is not designed for beginners. You should have basic knowledge of WordPress and be familiar with how to write or configure functions within your WordPress site.
