Overview
Sheimos Scanner automatically detects all forms of Shem Hashem (Divine
Names) in your Google Docs™ — in both Hebrew and English — and replaces
them with acceptable abbreviated forms to reduce the production of sheimos.

Works with nikkud (vowel points) and plain text. Detects and replaces:
the Tetragrammaton, Elokim, Ado-nai, Sha-dai, Tzevakot, and English forms
like "God" and "Lord."

How to use:
Open any Google Doc and go to Extensions > Sheimos Scanner > Open Scanner.
The sidebar scans automatically and shows what was found with surrounding
context. Review and replace by category, or replace all at once.

Features:
- One-click scanning with detailed results
- Replace individually by category or all at once
- Shows context around each finding
- Works with or without nikkud/vowel points

Also known as: Sheimot, Shemot, Shemos, Shemois, Shem Hashem, Genizah helper
