Shout! wakes up a whole space. Type !platform-team the deploy is stuck in any space and everyone in Platform Team gets a real notification, with your message quoted and a link back to where you wrote it. No lists to maintain, no bot commands to learn: a space's name is its !name. What it does • Notify any space from any other space. Several at once: !eng !design ship it. • Works from automations. Once a Google Workspace administrator installs Shout!, messages from webhooks and other apps can shout too, so alerts reach the people who need them. • Urgent shouts. !!oncall prod is down gets through Do Not Disturb (paid plans). • Aliases. A space manager can give a space a short !name in its description (paid plans). • /shout spaces lists every space you can reach and its !name; /shout plan shows your plan and usage. How it behaves • Nothing is posted in the space you typed in. The notification lands in the space you named. • Only members of the organization that owns a space can shout into it; guests get a private note. • Direct messages are never notified. • If a name doesn't match, Shout! tells you privately and suggests /shout spaces. Plans Free: up to 3 shoutable spaces, including automations when installed by an administrator. Paid plans add more spaces, urgent shouts, aliases, and a support desk with a promised reply time. Billing is handled by Shout! through Stripe at shout.nimbusxr.us; nothing is charged through Google. Privacy Shout! reads a message only when it is addressed to Shout! or, after an administrator install, to look for !names. It stores space names and organization ids, never message content.
