I looked at Slemma in the hope that it would give me a simple thing that I had been searching for for days; a platform where I could create a blank shell of a graph that I could add data to as I received it. The site promised that it could make easy graphs that was useful for anyone. I was sorely disappointed. Slemma does not let you make a graph unless you can connect it to another document which already has your information. I could not do more that make an x and y axis before it demanded statistics to input. As I did not have anything but headers and gauges yet, Slemma was utterly useless. To top it all off, I found out that I could not share this graph with anyone unless I paid for it, which I think would be an utter waste of anyone's money. In my opinion, it would be more worth it spending money on a computer class, hacking the program, and fixing it to a passable state. And please, if you promise to do what is surprisingly not a widely available thing; help create the simplest of graphs, please let it be possible to not have to load the site with personal information until we need too. That being said, I'm sorry if I severely offended anyone. However, until these obvious shortcomings are fixed, I do not recommend this program to ANYONE.

1) Product is not intuitive, you need to know something about creating charts and in which cases you would use a group by and which cases you would not. It is not for someone who is trying to create drag and drop charts without some detailed knowledge of underlying charting concepts. 2) The chat support is SLOW. Very slow to answer questions. Simple questions will take you 10 minutes to get answered. And I don't mean going back and forth I mean you ask and then you get an answer 5,6, 10 minutes later. 3) The knowledge base is thin and out of date. Most search queries will not give you what you are looking for but the same basic article over and over and over. Most of the videos are for a prior version of the software and the UI is not the same so you can't follow step by step. If you need charting use plotly. If you need dashboards I don't know yet still looking for an alternative.

As far as creating graphs with simple data sets while still being visually appealing, the app is great. However, the online sharing features (my favorite part of Google Docs) seem to not work unless you pay for the upgrade. Which, as an intern, is not really an option. I do wish some of the features, such as sharing and automatic saving, were like Google Docs.

Could not get my data to upload to this app and had to populate sheet IN the app. Tutorials were not very helpful. I'm still looking for a good app.
