SlideShortcuts adds consultant-grade layout commands to Google Slides™. Select shapes on a slide, then pick a command from Extensions > SlideShortcuts.

WHAT IT ADDS

  Make Same Size, Make Same Width, Make Same Height

Make Same Size, Width and Height copy the first shape in the selection to the others; Cycle Reference Shape switches that to the last or the largest. If a command has nothing to act on, it says what to select.

FREE TO USE

The add-on is free. There is no SlideShortcuts account to create and no license key: install it, approve its one permission, open a presentation and use the menu.

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS, OPTIONAL

The SlideShortcuts extension for Google Chrome™ gives every command above a keyboard shortcut, plus 35 more that run in the browser (align, distribute, order, group, nudge, resize, text and color), with the same keys as the SlideShortcuts add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint. The extension comes with a SlideShortcuts subscription from slideshortcuts.com. A browser extension cannot see which shapes are selected in a presentation, so the extension runs these menu commands and the add-on does the layout work.

WHAT IT CAN SEE

It does its work through one permission, "View and manage presentations that this application has been installed in". With it, the add-on can only change the presentation you have open, and only when you run a command. It does not read your email address or profile, your other presentations or files, or anything else in your account, and it sends nothing anywhere.
