I love this add on! I use it every day, and just since August it's had many great updates! I would love to see something like this with Google Docs as well.

I love Slip N Slide! Has anyone had the issue where slides are shared multiple times? 😣 It's happened twice to me. I went in and individually restored the previous version for each student, but I'm wondering if I did something wrong or if it's a fluke. Both times the robot kept working & wouldn't give me the "slides shared" dialogue. Thanks in advance!

Looks like it's working fine so far. But I can't figure out how to tell to which folders I have already attached the original presentation. Where can I see that, or can I??

The original presentation can be located anywhere you choose to store it. Only the stored folders name will be shown in the single classroom option. If using the multiple classroom option, however you titled the classroom when asked is what will show in the menu.

Recently a teacher asked me to help her to use Slip-in-Slide for her science classes. She maintains a digital notebook, and one to be able to add new pages to her students' notebooks in Google Classroom using your Slip-in-Slide add on. I was very excited to learn about this, but when I try to use it I encountered some problems. I installed the add-on, then opened up a Google slide deck and clicked start. Then I clicked “ select a single folder in Google Drive”, then I clicked “select a Google classroom folder”. I then selected the class, but it did not let me choose the assignment within that class to add the slides to. It chose an assignment randomly, which obviously isn’t going to work. My question is: what am I doing wrong? I would love to share this add-on with my teachers, especially as we are still in remote learning. Can you help me use this add-on correctly?

Hello Noel, It sounds like you are not selecting the folder as intended. The Google Picker that is used only allows you to see folders (not the files themselves). This forces you to select the folder, but in order to do so you cannot open the folder like you are used to. Instead when you first see the folder single click on it. This will turn the "Select" button a dark blue, that is when you want to press the button which will then save the folder ID and store the folder name in the menu for future use. I suspect that is the problem that is occuring.

Hello! Where you able to select the folder that holds all the digital notebooks from the Google Classroom folder? You have to select that specific folder within Google Classroom. If you open your "Class Drive" Folder from Classwork in that Google Classroom Section, "Star" that folder to make it easy to find when you "select a single folder" in Slip n slide. Hope this solves your issue!
