Overview
NEW no PII collected option with District domain level purchases!

Push any number of slides to an entire folder of student presentations making distribution of new materials quick and easy. Integrates with the folder structure of Google Classroom(TM) to send your slides directly into students existing presentations. Perfect for a Google Slides(TM) based interactive notebook. This product includes a full-access 60 day trial.

The Single Classroom section is perfect for multiple subject teachers that have a single class and presentations that focus on a one subject.

The Multiple Classroom section is created for single subject teachers that may need to distribute content to many classes. This area allows teachers to select and store multiple destination assignment folders and to title each folder with a meaningful description (ie. Period 1, Period 4, ...). Once the folders are added the teacher can select a single class, multiple classes, or all classes to slip the new content.

After OTT-o completes a slip and summary screen is provided which lists all successful slips, skipped slips (due to lack of editing rights), and failed slips.
Note: the success zone is automatically closed so that the skipped/failed zones are visible. These two error zones will automatically open if a presentation fails or is skipped.

Note: Installation may require approval by your Admin. If installation fails, contact your IT department.

This extension allows you to create digital notebooks (in the form of personalized Google Slideshows) that can be used in lieu of paper notebooks. That means no more forgotten materials or broken pencils. Create a "starter" notebook and let Google Classroom "Create a Copy For Each Student". Then, as time progresses, the instructor is able to "push" new slides into each of the students' individual notebooks. The advantage of this is that the notebook doesn't have to be complete before initial sharing. Instead, the instructor adds content as he or she creates it and as the students need it. Use cases: Daily warm-ups, vocabulary instruction, SSR logs, online text library or web link set, unit handouts, glossaries, mini test prep warm-ups, creative writing prompts and writing spaces, etc. You can treat it just as you would a binder IRL.This extension allows you to create digital notebooks (in the form of personalized Google Slideshows) that can be used in lieu of paper notebooks. The program is awesome, and works well. I haven't found many issues so far. I've even slipped slides into decks where students are working during class time! Great for building slide decks one step ahead of the students! thanks for they updates (and fixing the typo!) - I'm looking forward to slipping slides into the middle of the decks. A little precarious because my students keep adding slides in the middle themselves, but we'll see. The next feature I'd love love love would be the ability to schedule the slips in advance, similar to scheduling your Classroom posts or emails.

I want to like this app. It works sometimes which is more frustrating than it never working. It takes a TON of time to send slides to all of my classes (only 5), but each class takes more than 10 minutes and must be done individually even with the multiple files feature (you still have to send the slides individually to teach class). Today I discovered that 2 out of the 5 classes I spent time sending slides to yesterday didn't receive the slides. The "I sent you slides" screen pops up showing all classes have received the slides, but it cannot be trusted and it does not always appear. The program seems to get stuck and the "sending slides' screen can stay up for hours. I usually manually check that the slides have been sent. Super frustrating. At this point I'm glad I'm still in the free trial period, not convinced it's worth paying for. Wish it worked better....... this could be so good.

Recently a teacher asked me to help her to use Slip-in-Slide for her science classes. She maintains a digital notebook, and one to be able to add new pages to her students' notebooks in Google Classroom using your Slip-in-Slide add on. I was very excited to learn about this, but when I try to use it I encountered some problems. I installed the add-on, then opened up a Google slide deck and clicked start. Then I clicked “ select a single folder in Google Drive”, then I clicked “select a Google classroom folder”. I then selected the class, but it did not let me choose the assignment within that class to add the slides to. It chose an assignment randomly, which obviously isn’t going to work. My question is: what am I doing wrong? I would love to share this add-on with my teachers, especially as we are still in remote learning. Can you help me use this add-on correctly?

Love this! It has been a game-changer for me in the classroom with digital notebooks. I've only had it be glitchy once or twice. All I have to do is resend the slides to students. Overall, this has been such a fabulous tool! I will be paying for the license before my trial is up. Thank you so much for creating this!
