Slot Booking turns a Google Form™ into a scheduling sheet with real inventory: you set the times and how many people fit in each one, and the form does the rest. When a slot fills, it disappears from the form on its own. Every booking becomes an event on your Google Calendar™ with the respondent added as a guest, so they get a calendar invite and a confirmation email.

Need to limit responses for each choice on a Google Form™? Slot Booking closes a time as soon as it's full, so you can schedule sign-ups without counting by hand. People who sign up get an invite on their calendar, so the same form works as a signup sheet for meeting slots or as a reservation form. It's an easy way to turn a Google Form™ into calendar invites.

WHAT IT DOES

✓ Slots with capacity. One spot for appointments, or ten for the volunteer shift or the parent-teacher table. The form shows how many spots are left in each time, and group slots work just as well as 1:1 bookings.

✓ Full slots close themselves. The moment a slot fills, it leaves the form. If two people race for the last spot in the same second, exactly one gets it, and the other is emailed right away to pick a new time. Nobody walks away believing they're booked when they aren't; even an empty submission gets an honest "nothing was booked" note.

✓ Times people can read. Each time shows on your form as a choice like "Tue Oct 27 · 10:00 AM (1 left)". Show them as a dropdown, as buttons, or as checkboxes.

✓ Bookings land on your calendar. One event per slot, respondents as guests, times shown in your calendar's own time zone. Cancel the way you cancel anything: delete the event, the slot reopens on the form, and the guests get Google Calendar™'s standard cancellation notice.

✓ Works with the form you already have. Sections, branching and your other questions keep working. Every answer stays in your form's Responses tab, so you can open it in Google Sheets™ like any other form. Slot Booking can also add a note to the page people see after they press "Submit", so they know their confirmation is on its way.

✓ You control the booking window. First and last day to offer, how far ahead the form looks, a cutoff so nobody books five minutes before the slot starts, and which days of the week appear.

✓ You stay informed without watching. A heads-up email when something needs you, a daily or weekly who's-booked summary if you want one, and a roster view with a calendar link for every slot. You can also get an email the moment a time fills.

✓ A limit for the whole form. Set a total, like 40 bookings across every time, and Slot Booking closes the form's times once it's reached.

✓ Run it again. When your sign-up period ends, press "Set up new dates" and the same form takes bookings again, with every old booking kept. Want a fresh form instead? Make a copy in Google Forms™, and Slot Booking works on the copy too.

✓ Does it handle hundreds of slots? Yes. A form shows up to 250 times at once. If your settings make more, the Slot Booking panel tells you, and later times come onto the form as earlier ones fill or pass.

Booking tools inside forms have a reputation for quietly overbooking. This one was built backwards from that failure: bookings are counted where they live, on the calendar itself, and the form is never allowed to promise a spot it doesn't have. No accounts, no external service, no payments plumbing. Everything happens inside your own Google account.

GETTING STARTED

Install, open your form, click the puzzle-piece icon, then Slot Booking. Pick a calendar, set your times and capacity, save. The slot question appears on your form, filled with real times. That's the whole setup. To share it, send the form's link, or press "Make a QR code flyer" in the Slot Booking panel and print it.

Installation Tip: Multiple active Google™ accounts can block the permissions screen. For a seamless install, open an Incognito window, sign in to your preferred account, and install from there.

Permissions Tip: When the permission screen loads, you need to check all of the boxes. If you miss even one, Slot Booking won't work for you. Slot Booking asks for calendar access so it can send calendar invites from you. Slot Booking also asks to send email as you, for booking confirmations and appointment reminders to the people who book. It can't read any of your email.
