WHAT SMART COLUMN CLEANER DOES
Clean up messy data in seconds—no complex formulas required.

* De-duplicate cells in a column: keep the first instance; blank or highlight others.
* Remove duplicate rows: uses a column key and moves duplicates to a new sheet for review.
* Clear duplicates within rows: works across two or more columns.
* Trim extra spaces: removes leading, trailing, and double spaces.
* Change case: instantly convert to lower, UPPER, or Proper case.
* Clean strings: strip non-ASCII characters and emojis.

Options include: Header row protection, ignoring blank keys, and case-insensitive matching.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Select a column or range.
2. Go to: Extensions > Smart Column Cleaner > Open Cleaner.
3. Click your desired action — done!
Use the standard Undo (Ctrl+Z) to instantly revert any changes.

PRIVACY & SECURITY
* Data remains in your sheet: We only access the range you select to perform the cleanup. We never transmit your spreadsheet content to our servers.
* Tech Speckles Architecture: All processing occurs within the Google Apps Script environment under least-privilege permissions.
* Licensing: We use a Google-signed ID token or Firebase token to verify Pro status. No cell data is sent during this check.
* Logs: Minimal license/quota logs (excluding sheet content) are kept for 30 days for troubleshooting.
