Überblick
A Solver for Google Sheets™: choose a cell to maximize, minimize or set to a value, choose the cells it may change, add constraints — and get the answer right in the sidebar.

Your data stays in your file. Reads and writes only cells in this file. The calculation runs inside this panel, and the contents of your file are not sent anywhere. Your variable cells change only when you press Write answer, and Undo puts them back.

Solvecell reads only the file you have open, and only the cells you name in the sidebar. While it reads your sheet it briefly puts trial values in the variable cells and then puts your original values back. It does not touch your Google Drive™.

Free
- Linear, integer and 0/1 models, up to 200 variables
- Each solve stops at a time limit you set (5–300 seconds) and offers the best answer found so far
- No watermark

Paid ($29, one-time)
- No limit on the number of variables
- Shadow prices: how much the objective changes when a constraint's right side goes up by 1
- One-time purchase through Gumroad. No subscription, and it does not expire

The only outside service the add-on ever contacts is Gumroad, and only to check a license key: your browser sends only the license key and the product ID — nothing about you or your files.

How to use
Open a file, then choose Extensions > Solvecell for Google Sheets™ > Open Solvecell. In the sidebar, enter the objective cell, the variable cells and the constraints (the Use selection buttons fill cells from what you have selected), then press Solve. When it finishes, press Write answer to put the answer in the variable cells; Undo puts them back.

If you are signed in to more than one Google account and the sidebar does not load, open the file in a window signed in to only one account.
