Overview
Train an AI on your own labelled rows, inside Google Sheets.

Most AI add-ons for Sheets answer each cell from a general-purpose prompt. StayCharted AI Model Trainer learns your categories from the rows your team has already labelled, tells you how accurate it is before you rely on it, and marks the answers worth a check.

How it works

1. Open the sidebar: Extensions → StayCharted AI Model Trainer → Open StayCharted.
2. Sign in to StayCharted. A free account works.
3. Train: pick the column with the answers. StayCharted measures which columns carry signal and ticks them for you. It checks the data, trains, and reports accuracy on rows it never trained on, by category.
4. Publish the version you're happy with.
5. Fill: it fills the empty cells of a column with the model's answer, puts a confidence beside each, and marks the uncertain ones for review.

What it touches

- Only the spreadsheet it's opened in. It can't see the rest of your Drive.
- It sends StayCharted only the columns you pick, and writes only into empty cells.
- It skips any row whose text changed while a fill ran, so an answer never lands on the wrong row.

Your models are yours. They're trained on your rows for your workspace, and the same models answer in StayCharted, through the API and in Claude and ChatGPT.

Plans. The Free plan includes Classifier Models and one AI Classifier Model. Essentials and Business add more models and Dedicated AI Models.
