Every month you export a few CSVs from Stripe, paste them into a spreadsheet, and rebuild the same formulas you set up last month. StripeSync does that part. Pick a report, click once, and the rows land in your sheet. WHAT YOU CAN PULL Eight separate reports, each its own one-click job: - MRR Breakdown: MRR, gross volume, new customers, active subscribers and churn rate, bucketed by week or month - Payments (Charges) - Customers - Subscriptions - Payouts - Refunds - Disputes - Products & Prices MRR Breakdown pulls a trailing run of periods (up to 104). The other seven take a start and end date. Results append below whatever's already in the sheet, or open in their own tab if you want them kept apart. Re-run whenever you need fresher numbers. CHARTS WITHOUT THE CHART DIALOG Click Generate Charts and you get native Google Sheets charts built from the sheet in front of you. MRR Breakdown gets a combo chart plus a churn line. Every other report gets a day-by-day trend chart. No axis fiddling. PROMPTS FOR THE ANALYSIS PART After an import there's a panel of ready-to-paste prompts: "explain this churn in plain English", "flag the disputes that need a response today", that sort of thing. You point Gemini or ChatGPT at your own sheet. StripeSync never reads your row data or sends it anywhere for this. YOUR STRIPE KEY STAYS IN YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT There's no server behind this add-on. It calls Stripe directly from Apps Script running in your own Google account. Nothing is proxied through Makeinfo, and nothing is stored on our side. It also only accepts a Stripe restricted key with read-only access to Customers, Subscriptions, Charges, Payouts, Refunds, Disputes, Products and Balance. Paste a full secret key (sk_...) and it's rejected on the spot and never saved. TEST MODE A Test Mode checkbox and an on-screen badge keep sandbox data visually apart from live revenue, so you don't mix the two by accident. Test Connection checks your key before you run anything real. WHO USES IT - Founders who want this week's numbers without opening another dashboard - Finance and ops people who already live in Sheets and want the cells filled in for them - Anyone who'd rather not hand their Stripe data to a third-party analytics product GETTING STARTED 1. Extensions menu, then StripeSync, then Open. 2. In Settings, paste a restricted key (rk_live_... or rk_test_...), tick Test Mode for a sandbox key, and hit Test Connection. 3. In Import, pick a report and its date range or period count, then run it. 4. Click Generate Charts if you want them. 5. Come back and re-run any time. Free plan: weekly grouping, 20 imports a month shared across all reports, charts carry a small Makeinfo credit.
