⚙️ How it works

1. Connect Stripe. Authorize read-only access to your billing data through OAuth. SyncStaq does not create, edit, refund, or cancel Stripe records.
2. Create your spreadsheet. SyncStaq creates a dedicated Sheet with raw data tabs plus a Working Sheet for your own formulas and reports.
3. Backfill, then sync. The first sync brings in your recent Stripe history so you start with context, not an empty sheet. After that, ongoing scheduled sync keeps everything current. No scripts, no code.

Each object is written to its own raw tab in a consistent structure:

- Invoices and line items
- Charges (transactions)

🔁 Why not just export CSVs

Exports are fine once. They break down when reporting becomes a recurring workflow and you are cleaning the same columns every week. SyncStaq removes that step, and there is no custom API key handling, event processing, sheet-writing code, or browser-export automation for your team to own and maintain.

🔒 Privacy and access

- Read-only Stripe access. SyncStaq does not process payments, issue refunds, or manage subscriptions. Nothing in your Stripe account changes.
- SyncStaq only accesses spreadsheets it creates in the app. Your other Drive files are never read or modified.
