Overview
Clicking on a table of contents heading in the sidebar will move your cursor to that section of the document.

After selecting a format in the list, clicking on the refresh button will number automatically your document's headings.

I have been using this add-on for a long time for formatting the headings across documents. Though the add-on name was misleading and not that user-friendly, it did the job that I wanted so far. Suddenly, it stopped working and blocked all my formatting. And I ended up doing manual formatting again for urgent documents. And that is brutal. The good news is we ended up building a new add-on called 'Structuralist' ourselves and published it on the marketplace. The Structuralist add-on is doing the job now for me, and I hope that it is a bit more user-friendly. I am open to feedback on it and will improve on the go.

This app has stopped working altogether, which is a pity because it was better than Google Doc's own Table of Contents functionality and was exceptionally useful for almost all of my documents. It was a 5-star when working. Now, 1-star is an exaggeration as it's currently totally unfuncitonal since several days ago.

I tried using this add-on, but it didn't work well. Then I tried the Structuralist add-on, and it worked perfectly.

This app was finicky, but even so, a God-send... until last month, it stopped working completely (I see it i snot just for me). Why???? Please fix it!!!!

I have been using this add-on for years, sadly, out of nowhere, it just stopped working. I attempted uninstalling and reinstalling it, but that did not help.
