Overview
Clicking on a table of contents heading in the sidebar will move your cursor to that section of the document.

After selecting a format in the list, clicking on the refresh button will number automatically your document's headings.

I don't understand its purpose. It won't generate a Table of Contents for the doc, but produces a sidebar. But Google Docs does that already.

Generally works fine (albeit a little slow), but stopped working when a watermark is added to the document (error message just keeps telling you to enable it again from the menu, which does nothing). Removing the watermark lets it work again. The error has been reported. On another note I am not entirely sure why heading numbering isn't available natively; it seems such a basic feature.

I have been using this TOC add-on for a few years now, across two different companies and for personal use. It may have it's quirks but as long as google doesn't bother to add this (pretty fundamental in my opinion) functionality to docs, this is the best alternative out there.

I use it to automatically number section headers and then in turn propagate that to the table of contents. So far it worked perfectly for that, so 5 stars for me.

I hate it It Downloaded a virus on my laptop And on top of that it did not do a single THING This is the worst app I have ever downloaded I am very mad that I got hacked by this app It has made purchases on MY credit card And I will report this to the police I am sorry but I can NOT handle this right now I am very upset

Keeps on skipping section numbers. E.g. ​4.9.2​ Physical Data Model ​5.0.1​ Conceptual Model Tred clearing numbers but when I put them back have same problem.

I was able to install this extension in one Google Account some time ago and it worked great. HOWEVER, today, I am trying to install it again in a different Google Account but Google will not let me install it. :-( The Developers (LumApps) did inform me after the issue that they were depending on Google. That got resolved. Today (4th-March-2021) the extension is not displayed on the right hand side of my Google Doc so am unable to use it again. Does that depend on Google again or is it an issue with the extension itself? Thank you.

Really great — so important when referencing sections in a document and telling people where to go. Only challenge I have is that domain install is not supported...
