I was hopeful it would compare with some of the automate voices I hear on YouTube. this is just a computer sounding voice. Like automated voicemail.

I was hoping to use this for a voice-over for a video. I loved the cloud Text to Speech app. But it doesn't work for me. This has really unnatural pauses. It obviously doesn't understand punctuation:(((

im going with Read Aloud. same voices and volume but does not have speed and volume options. uninstalled bec it takes pdf and then takes out the text. so sometimes I have no idea which the program is reading from based on the document. a big problem is that the reading always starts in the start and nowhere else. i might be lazy but I scrolled down and it doesn't want to start where I want it to start. soooo no thanks. i can pause but never go back and repeat again. please upgrade and add features. ty!

I liked this app because if provided the best pronunciation of the many I tried - I had to select the English female voice for best results. However, it now asks me to disable ADblock and will no longer work. I did not have ADBlock installed so there was no way I could disable it. I have now installed ADBlock and tried disabling it but I still just get the message asking me to disable ADblock. The upside is that I have discovered ADBlock - what a great app - thoroughly recommend it. Thank you for improving my web experience.

Pauses too often, e.g. will occasionally speak individual words in the middle of a normal sentence with no punctuation. It won't resume, pausing forces you to start over and there's no way to set a custom position.

Just learned that, with Google Addons, I can do text to speech as well as speak and have my words typed. Love it!

I absolutely loved this extension and planned on using it with my students who have learning disabilities. But as of 6/10/17 it stopped working. Every time I try to use it now I get this error "This site can’t be reached drivetts.ehubsoft.net took too long to respond. Search Google for drivetts hubsoft net ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" This is a real shame
