TickLane turns the email you have open into a clear, reviewed task without scanning your inbox.

Open an email, select TickLane in Gmail's side panel, then choose Summarize & prepare. TickLane suggests a concise title and editable note. Choose a TickLane list, check the details and create the task. The task keeps a link to the source email so you can return to the original context.

Privacy is built into the workflow:

• TickLane processes only the open email and only after you ask.
• You review the title and note before a task is saved.
• TickLane does not send, delete or modify email.
• TickLane does not continuously scan the mailbox.
• TickLane does not store a reusable Gmail access token.
• Duplicate imports are detected for the same TickLane user and Gmail message.

The Gmail add-on works with TickLane Free and TickLane Pro accounts. A TickLane account is required to create tasks. Workspace administrators can control whether users are allowed to install Marketplace add-ons.
