After trying other solutions for decades, I've been using Tiller for nearly 3 years now, and it is hands-down best, most flexible solution on the marketplace for my home financial management. You can use the Foundations template as is and keep it simple, or choose from an endless variety of add-ons and options to customize. Everything incl. transactions can be tweaked or adjusted as needed. For control freak like me, I can never go back to QB or other canned software that forces me into all kinds of holes, not to mention privacy concerns. And customer support is personal and top-notch-when they open a trouble ticket, you can be assured someone (with real person w/ actual name lol) will keep you updated and stay on it until resolved, no run-arounds or excuses.

I have been using this app for almost a year. Recently, my bank went through a change and my data was not being transferred to Tiller. I checked with my bank and then Tiller and got a quick reply and recommendation and the next 24 hours, that data began to work. There was follow up messages making sure things worked. I really appreciated the quick and thorough responses.

I've been a Mint user for many years, and with the sunsetting of the product, I researched and tested a number of solutions. Tiller was exactly what I was looking for, and the integration with Google sheets is terrific. The standard template they give you is a great start, and I've looked at a few community templates as well. I've also added my own sheets and was up and running very quickly. It's much easier and more efficient to use than Mint was. Very happy!

I use a large number of Credit Cards to maximize Cash Back Rewards. I'm one of those NERDs that track everything, and I used to enter all my receipts/transactions manually. Of course, that gives way to occasionally entering erroneous amounts or losing a receipt. In general, I didn't find out about these errors or ommissions until balancing/paying those many credit card statements each month. In addition, those statements each required opening and/or saving them since I do everything paperlessly. Doing my balancing daily via Tiller (knowing the amounts are correct and eliminating tracking down any missing receipts, multiple times per month, as each credit card statement was released) has made my tracking so much easier. I can actually feel confident (not even downloading each statement -- of course I still do) having each card autopay without feeling I have missed something. There is so much more I can say. OK, I will. You can get a full picture DAILY of all of your account balances, and know that funds are where they need to be at all times. I really enjoy Tiller. My only problem now, is wanting to format and color code transactions. It is like a drug. OCD much?

I've been using Tiller for several months now and it's wonderful, by far the best experience I've found for managing transactions (after trying other services/sites like Mint and Quicken Simplfi). The import works well; I have it scheduled daily and every day I get a round of new transactions. Having the data under my control is lovely. Tiller's integration is elegant and it doesn't take over the entire spreadsheet; for example, you can add your own columns to the main transactions sheet. You can use their additional features (like AutoCat and Spending Trends), or of course you can totally nerd out with your own scripts, charts, summary sheets, etc. All in all a great experience.

When it works, which is most of the time, it is fantastic and easy to use. There have been a few weeks when it could not access the account data for one or two accounts, but those issues eventually got resolved. If an account can't be accessed by Tiller, the account data can be downloaded and then incorporated into the spreadsheet so even if one or two accounts have an issue the program is still an excellent way to keep all financial data in one spreadsheet. In the past I had to download all my bank data every 3 months because the banks only follow access to the past three months, then incorporate each account into a spreadsheet with my credit card data. This program allows me to collect all that data into one spreadsheet with the click of one button.

I had been using Mint for the past 7 years. When Mint went to credit karma I decided to look for a new program. I wish I had switched much sooner. I have my own excel budget program in l that I wrote and incorporated into Mint for the last 7 years. It is customized to my needs and I was worried about porting it over to a new program. With Tiller I was able to port it over in about 2 hours and have been able to incorporate over 10000 transaction seamlessly. I was also able to clean up all the mislabeled transactions descriptions and categories. I can now accurately modify description and accurately categorize with drop down boxes. I am amazed at the difference in the amount of time between Tiller and Mint required to maintain my accounts.

This is a very good budgeting tool and you can enter the entire year by month and category with standard payments that will automatically fill in each month. There will be an initial up front learning process but all of my accounts update each day if necessary. I am retired so I review my budget often. Tiller also led me to Google Sheets which work great with the product and I am going to cancel my Excel programs when they come up for renewal. There is also great support with the product and I am very happy I found this product. Thank you.

Tiller is the best money solution out there. I’ve been using it for about 3 years I believe. I had firstI tried apps like Mint and others, they were all too “hands-off” for me. I couldn’t quickly modify and sort data the way I needed to. Tiller is highly customizable and makes everything so easy- but still gives me full control. I have a separate Financial Independence worksheet where I can drop in stats monthly and review net worth annually… this has helped me grow my NW 20% Y/Y. Anytime one of my banks has a glitch and stops feeding, Tiller support helps me t quickly resolve.

I found Tiller through comments on Reddit, from other users who were losing ability to use Mint because of a Intuit company change of direction to fold the awesomeness that Mint was. After trying a few other platforms, I found that Tiller offers the flexibility and connections that I need to continue managing my household. Budget, Balance, transactions, greater categorization that Mint had... Tiller hopefully will be my new tool for the long haul. Looking forward to more Canadian connections and support (this sounds like could be an opportunity for Tiller's growth and focus too)
