Time Doctor is quite an interesting app, as far as time-tracking goes when you are working with teams.
It does the job, that is already one good point. What I especially like is the integrations. At one point, I was using teamwork quite extensively, and the integration with TW allowed me to see all my time entries in time doctor neatly displayed in the teamwork tasks, which is very handy. We switched to Trello. Integration with Trello is nice too, but since Trello is a bit more bare, there is no display of time entries within the app. But the timedoctor interface perfectly does the job. It's also nice to see the week of every employee in a summary in the TD dashboard.
I also like the possibility to create "permanent tasks". Very handy to track time spent on reading and answering mails, doing some project management, and so on, which is quite inevitable and otherwise would go "untracked".
There is one feature I think could be made better: manual time editing. I don't see why people who can edit time would not be able to do it from the app instead of having to log on the website.
That being said, the latest version of the desktop app is really nice. It also act as a "watchdog", since it automatically sends you a popup message if you log on time-wasting websites such as youtube or facebook. Quite a nice reminder to stay focused :-)
All in all, a very nice time-tracking app. And for our needs, it is also very reasonable in terms of billing, which is certainly a huge plus.
