Avoid Cardbox – Unethical Billing and Excuses for Non-Cancellation My experience with Cardbox was deeply disappointing. The platform’s display was not functional, Gmail settings did not integrate properly, and the service simply wasn’t worth the cost. I requested the cancellation of several accounts for our agency, clearly outlined in writing. Despite disconnecting these accounts, rendering the service unusable as they requested, Cardbox continued charging me for nearly a year. When confronted, they refused to take responsibility, claiming they couldn't cancel accounts on their end – an excuse that allowed them to keep billing me. Despite multiple communications with Ed McManus, who was assigned to handle my concerns, the lack of cooperation and unwillingness to resolve the issue professionally left me deeply disappointed. Cardbox’s poor customer service and unwillingness to cooperate highlight their disregard for fair treatment and commitment to resolving issues professionally. I strongly discourage anyone from using their services to avoid being caught in a similar situation.

Unethical Billing Practices and Lack of Accountability I had a troubling experience with Cardbox regarding their billing practices. Despite submitting a written cancellation request in January 2024 to cancel several accounts and disconnecting them from Trello (making the service unusable), Cardbox continued to charge me for nearly a year. When I brought this to their attention, they offered only a $20 refund, refusing to take responsibility for their failure to process the cancellation. Their uncooperative attitude and confusing system placed the burden entirely on me, the customer, while they profited unfairly. Cardbox’s handling of this matter demonstrates a lack of transparency, accountability, and respect for their customers. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with them to avoid similar issues.
