Overview
Trend Micro Cloud App Security enables organizations to embrace the efficiency of cloud services while maintaining security. It enhances Google Drive with DLP to enforce compliance or track sensitive data and advanced threat protection. Zero day and hidden malware are detected using sand Google Drive malware analysis and other techniques. Central policies can be enforced on Google Drive alongside other SaaS services including Office 365. Cloud App Security doesn’t require re-routing of web traffic or email but rather integrates directly with SaaS services using API’s to preserve all user functionality, simplify setup, and expand protection.

Trialled the product, it is very good. Plenty of pre-defined DLP categories to choose from. Good detections. However, if you want to buy a license and if you are a small business, good luck finding anyone in Trend Micro or any of their listed partners to talk to you. You cannot "subscribe" to it (do it yourself), you have to go through Trend Micro's partners. I have literally researched and sent requests to dozens of the partners listed under Trend Micro's recommended partners list. I had one sales representative from one of Trend Micro's partners who came back to me very apologetically saying that they could not serve us because our business does not have more than 50 IT users. To date I have found only one company with a funny name based in Germany who sell this license in smaller batches than 50 users via their online website. I have hesitation but this might be the only option and there are not many alternatives in the market that do DLP with Google Workspace. So, for the product, I would have given a 5 star. But for their posture towards small businesses, 1 star.
