To use the Videate add-on, first install it into a document. You will see the Videate sidebar appear. You will be asked to log in, and you will log in using your normal Videate login method.

Once you've signed in, options like Client and Persona will be available along with the Preview button. If you have not previously, you will need to create an environment and start an instance in order to successfully preview and render videos from Google Docs™
