'Video from Drive' is an online video player for Google Drive.

To use the player, just log in from your Google account without additional registration.

Current main features of 'Video from Drive' player:

A watse of time, it doesn't work. It comes up with a message to tell you it wont run with ad-free setting. I can find no option to pay for ad-free use.

Went to mp4 file stored in my drive. Right clicked play with, chose this app (video player for google drive). Black video player screen appeared on my monitor, with the chosen file appearing as large thumbnail at upper right, outside of the player screen. I cliecked on the movie thumbnail play button. I just see a run timer going on...waited, tried again..same issue...timing but not working. Ok, So, figured out the workaround required to play large files. Right click and choose play with this video player for google drive. New tab opens, has large black player screen which includes a field at the top The chosen video appears top right outside of player screen (video thumbnail) - click on it to play Another tab will open...explains drive can not play large files blah blah, and has "download anyway" button. Right click on Download anyway button, copy link address Go back to tab with player and paste inside the field in the player Video should then start playing. Note, you don't have to actually download the movie first. Simply copy the address to the link of the download button and paste inside player.
