Beep for Google Docs™ allows you to effortlessly leave voice notes and comments on Google Docs™, Slides™, Sheets™, and Forms™.  

***Why voice notes?***

Giving feedback while collaborating with others can take a lot of time and effort. Typing everything you want to convey and delivering it in a tone that’s constructive and positive is really difficult.  Far too often, too much of our time is spent sending messages and comments back and forth and clarifying miscommunicated points.  

Audio notes allow you to say more by typing less. You can speak 8x faster than you can type, so voice notes are more efficient. Plus, with voice, it’s easier to avoid miscommunication and tailor your tone. 

***How does it work?***
1. Install the add-on above.
2. Visit Docs™, Slides™, Sheets™, or Forms™.  
3. Then either: 
Click the red microphone on the right sidebar. 
Or
Tap “Add-ons” or "Extensions" in the top menu bar and click “Record a Beep.” 
4. Paste the link into the doc or in a comment.  

That’s all! A link will be generated so your collaborators can listen to your voice note. You never have to leave Google Docs™ to record as everything is integrated directly into Docs™.
