Overview
Instead of copying and pasting from Google Docs to WordPress and losing your images and formatting in the process, this add-on makes it easy to compose in Google Docs and publish to WordPress with formatting intact and images being uploaded properly.

After installing the add-on, you’ll be able to open WordPress.com for Google Docs in any Google Doc and connect your sites.

It worked for me, but only on basic content (text, tables & images). Anything with special Google docs elements like smart chips and footnotes would fail w/a generic error.

Does not work. I connect my WP site to it, create a post in docs and click save and it just sits there 'saving'. I installed and re-installed and still the same thing.

Barely works. I always get the following error: Error. TypeError: element.getText is not a function. Please report this error." And literally nowhere to report the error.

These are those opportunities that give a few steps from a more experienced to a "rookie", so that he too may continue and compete. It seems minute but websites are right beside commercials and word of mouth, well it has the makings to lead us all in one way or another. Happy Easter and May God continue to Bless us all... Here's the thing. When it works, it works well. But if anything is out of alignment, WP update, impossible to determine Doc includes or settings, the planets, it breaks. And worse, it doesn't just fail, when it doesn't work it will make a post (or 50) with no content, or it will make an endless number of Auto Drafts. If there was any attention payed to keeping this up to date and working it would be fantastic. But there isn't. It is, at best, duct taped together.

After using it for some time, it just stopped working. I tried all the possible solutions found in the support pages and the internet but i keep getting an error when trying to connect Google Docs to my wordpress site. It says that i have to "link jetpack plugin to wordpress" before, done it dozens of times in various ways, starting clean and even new accounts, i am sure they are connected because all other functionalities and analytics shows correctly, but nothing works for this add-on.
