I couldn't be happier with ZipBooks! It is by far the easiest, most user-friendly, and solution-oriented project management software available! Customer support is incredibly nice and professional, with fast response times. I am shocked at all of the options available, it makes it seem like ZipBooks was custom-tailored to solve the problems my company needed to solve.

Extremely easy to use! I switched from Quickbooks and Go Daddy Bookkeeping to Zipbooks. This program is a god send. What makes this program even better is all the support you get in the bookkeeping world. Karin has been my main point of contact in my setting up Zipbooks and she has just been so helpful, kind and she knows her stuff!!. Karin is really the person who kept me onboard Zipbooks and with out Karin's assistance, I would have had such a hard time with categorization. Thankyou Zipbooks for understanding small business.

I started using ZipBooks two months ago when I got fed up with the Intuit offerings -- really fed up. I like what I see in ZipBooks. It's cloud-based, which makes sharing between people and between computers easy. Data entry is clean and quick. Reports are clean and useful. The customer support (thanks Emily) is superb. ZipBooks is relatively young. As such, the software lacks features that could make it first rate. But, I give it 5-stars because everything works, it is bug free, it covers the must-have items and support is super. ZipBooks plans a major upgrade (still free) in a few weeks that I think will greatly increase capability and appealing to clients who need more than just the basics. Good job, ZipBooks team.

As the owner of a LLC that is just getting kicked off, keeping track of my income vs. expenditures has been the most complicated thing for me prior to using ZipBooks. ZipBooks has helped me, a person with 0 experience in business, easily keep track of my invoices, payments, expenses, and generate reports that I need for taxes all at no cost. This has allowed me to focus more of my time on the technical aspects of my business which makes me extremely happy. Another great thing is, as my company grows, this software has the ability to bring in team members and set their permissions to items they need (such as invoices, payments and expenses) to control without giving them too much access (perhaps they do not need to manage users or customers). As a cybersecurity guy, anything with least privilege makes me happy :). Other aspects of ZipBooks that I’ve enjoyed are: -responsive support -web access (I use multiple devices including two desktops, a laptop, and a tablet); web access allows me to work from anywhere -ties into Google Accounts (I hate making new accounts everywhere I go) So, would I recommend ZipBooks? YES!!!

Easy to use, works as well as high cost software. These folks have awesome customer service, very attentive and know their product. The new version is now optimized for Windows 10 as well. Takes a few moments to learn the interface control but is simple, quick and awesome.

Zipbooks has been absolutely amazing! I [am a developer and] have moved from a bulkier accounting app to using them because of the awesome API integration as well as lightning fast front-end and integration with my existing Stripe Account. Also, any time I have needed they provided phenomenal customer service.

I had been a Freshbooks user for over 4 years and their service was perfectly fine but an unnecessary expense when I came across ZipBooks. I've been using ZipBooks for about a month now and I absolutely LOVE it! The interface is very user friendly and chat feature for customer support is very quick. Thanks Brad for all of your assistance especially with carefully and successfully migrating my information from Freshbooks to ZipBooks. It's absolutely PERFECT!!!! Thank you,

Good for a free version, so please use my comment not as a "dislike" or a "complaint". I rather call it feedback or constructive critisism only so the developer can use my info, along with many other considereations to continue to encourage you to make this app EXCELLENT one day when you are ready. As for this app, I would like to be able to have more control over the actual column headings. For example: I am unable to delete, disable, modify or hide the column for quantity? I don't use quantities or units of measure for what I need. So when using your app without the ability to delete, gives me a "0" quantity and then when i add the amount or cost for the line item, the quantity will automatically change the quantity to "1". And although I know the quantity or unit of measure doesn't mean anything...Our clients can easily assume the "1" printed next to the price is for "1" of whatever service we provide? When in fact my description includes all details of the entire job, with the agreed amount upon estimated cost. In my case... to not require as much detail as other small businesses. I would use this app if I had the ability to remove, hide, or even allow the column header but with # field to accept a "Null" rather than the "0" (quantity, each, unit, "blank" + the correlating # to be missing). To have a "0" or a "1" printed under an incorrect column heading (in between description and the cost), is incorrect. A client could easily assume or infer this as related to cost? Thanks for your contribution of this app, if I had time to learn to program an app i would. But since I don't know how yet, I rely on people like you to create a programs for people like me to use. Currently just using a "spreadsheet / database" manually, and is time consuming and unable to track status easily at all. I really need the invoice/template program as explained yesterday. Not easy to find at all, because most apps require even a "potential" user to fill in all the data about their company, address, phone # and clients same info, plus addin line items, just to get to the point where I can even see or find the ability to turn off the quantity column!! Takes a while to fill in all the "info" just to learn if this feature is available? All the pics of examples of similar apps I see from their example, is how I even start to choose which app will work for me? So far, I have attempted to create a "manual", "customized", or "upload my custom template" about 5x, and no other program will allow this feature with thier templates either? Other than not having the ability to use a template for the invoice, that is the only issue I have with app. Seems like such a simple task compared to the REAL features i need from your app...such as: track the progress, status, $ flow, create charts, of invoices with the additional tools included in your software. In the meantime I hope to be able to use your app again someday and wish there was an ability for you to inform me if this app was to ever be updated one day with the Null for qty addressed? I would then be a happy productive USER.

I am currently using ZipBooks to manage a very small engineering consulting and contracting business. This tool is excellent for basic bookkeeping to track expenses, income, send invoices and receive payments. However, it also includes the excellent feature to track time spent on different projects and different tasks within those projects, which can all be billed at different rates. The user interface is extremely simple for someone without an accounting background to pick up and use right away. The support team also is very responsive! I'm quite excited to see what features will be added soon.

If you only read the first sentence of this review- just know- the service is awesome! I'm writing as a new business owner that was looking for an app/website that was simple yet had all the functions I might need and did not yet know I would need. I was expecting to be confused and frustrated, but have come away so relieved to find something so intuitive and immediately usable. I can't compare this to other apps because what I did not want to do was spend too much time trying out a bunch of confusing apps that were too much or not enough. ZipBooks has been perfect so far. As an artist, I appreciate the clean design and layout. I can't wait to try some out the project management features. Thank you for such great experience.
