Overview
There are times when you want your slides to be in a random order. A great option when studying for a test or when you want to change up a classroom presentation. OTT-o-matic Slide Randomizer is a simple add-on that allows the user to easily and randomly reorder any slide deck. When used, the presentation will be quickly and efficiently randomized.

Users can choose to randomize all slides, selected slides or pairs of slides. Most keep the first page un-randomized to allow for a stationary title slide. OTT-o does all this in one step, so you can easy to undo the process, visit the version history to access the original version or subsequent version, or simply run Slides Randomizer again for another look.

Slides Randomizer has two automatic methods:
1) Randomize whenever the file is opened. This method requires the Slides to fully open and for the option to be processed making it a little slow for many users
2) Alternatively, users can automatically randomize daily for 30-days using a trigger.
Both of the automatic randomization methods can be canceled within the menus for each option

The option to automatically randomise slides, which was the main reason I wanted this, doesn't actually work, so you have to do it manually every time. Going to search for a better app.

5 stars bc it worked! HOWEVER the UI is tricky, you have to "start" then go in the menu again to get the additional options. Suggestion: 1) rename "start" into "enable addon" 2) display a popup explaining that one should go in the menu again "thanks the addon is enabled, go in the menu etc..."

The randomization is helpful for making smaller card games and such, an being able to shuffle the deck each time the hand or round is done can be done quite simply. However, for larger presentations, the randomizer does time out rather quickly, and then fails to function properly. Overall it is a good add-on. I just wouldn't recommend trying to make a 1000 card game with it.

I wish this would just randomize the slides while presenting, but keep them in order in the slide deck, kind of like the "shuffle" feature on a playlist.
