Enabling Change
Solutions: Work Transformation
"With Google Workspace, we save nearly $4,000 per month in licensing fees for our unified communication platform solution." – James Clark, Senior Global IT Manager, IT Convergence
With dispersed employees and more than 1,100 clients worldwide, IT Convergence uses Google Workspace apps including Drive and Sheets to work, communicate, and virtually collaborate across internal teams and with clients. Professional-grade resources in Google Workspace allow IT Convergence staffers to use advanced features such as Sheets coding. Google Cloud file management in productivity apps and Team Drives simplifies the document sharing and editing process, eliminating issues such as having to manually edit, attach to email, and send local files that add extra time to staff workflows.
"Google Workspace accelerated everything for us, as all of the complexity is handled in the cloud by Google," says James Clark, Senior Global IT Manager at IT Convergence. "We don't need to spend money or staff time on basic on-premises maintenance, making for easier administration and less worry for our team."
Gmail cloud platform management allows IT Convergence to avoid legacy email solution management costs such as hardware upkeep and having staff tasked with server administration. Google Workspace easily integrates with third-party team business apps including Okta, which integrates Google Workspace with Active Directory/LDAP for single sign-on. Google Meet helps cut costs for team VoIP calls and security resources such as Vault and domain whitelisting help keep company data secure.
