In today's dynamic business landscape, virtual meetings have become the bedrock of communication and collaboration. With analyst firms predicting a double-digit growth rate in video conferencing over the next five years*, businesses are seeking innovative solutions to enhance their meeting experiences and economically grow their video conferencing capacity. This is especially important as organizations begin to embrace a stronger return-to-office work practice

To address this growing demand, we're announcing a new partnership with Neat, a leader in video devices. We plan to integrate Google Meet’s easy-to-use, enterprise-ready video solution with Neat’s beautifully simple devices for natural and engaging video meetings.

Expanding the Meet ecosystem with Neat

By partnering with Neat, we are expanding the Meet hardware ecosystem and providing customers greater choice and flexibility especially when migrating to Meet from other conferencing platforms. Neat devices have the flexibility to run any supported video conferencing platform, which offer key customer benefits. Instead of costly and disruptive equipment replacements, organizations simply need to acquire a Google Meet license and reconfigure their Meet-certified Neat devices. This streamlined approach minimizes disruption and maximizes return on investment.

Enabling smarter meetings with AI

We’re dedicated to leveraging the power of Gemini to make meetings smarter and more productive, extending from the laptop to the conference room. We’ve made it easy to use Meet AI features like Gemini note taking in any conference room by simply joining with companion mode. This will work seamlessly with any Neat device out of the box.

We’re excited to partner with Neat and further bolster our diverse partner ecosystem. This collaboration empowers Workspace customers to easily adopt Meet with the flexibility to choose the best solution for their unique meeting room needs, regardless of size or type. We plan to support Google Meet on Neat devices by the end of this year.
