Create engaging video content using Veo 3 in the Gemini app and Google Vids
Veo 3 is having a moment, thanks to its groundbreaking ability to create high-quality video clips with realistic sound, just by typing a prompt. Now, you can generate clips with Veo 3 in the Gemini app. Just click “Video” in the Gemini prompt window and describe your scene with details like visual style and background music.
Google Vids is Workspace’s newest AI-powered video creation app, which allows users to easily create and collaborate with video. Generating video clips with Veo 3 is just one of the features in your toolbox to create videos for employee training, product demos, and more. Vids also has a new getting started page at vids.new, giving you multiple ways to begin your creative process. Whether you want to record yourself, choose from a variety of professionally designed templates, or generate video clips with Veo 3, you can kickstart your project in just a few clicks.

Get up to speed quickly with “catch me up,” video summaries, and Q&A with Gemini in Google Drive
Staying on top of your Drive content just got easier. The new catch me up feature in Google Drive can identify and summarize changes other people have made to your files since you last viewed them, saving you from having to comb through edits and comments individually.

You can also use Gemini in Drive to get summaries and ask questions about your video content. Imagine taking a 60-minute meeting recording and getting the important details, complete with action items, in less than a minute. Ask for actions like “summarize this video” or “list action items from this meeting recording” right in Drive.

We’ve also expanded how you can interact with files using PDF summary cards. When opening a PDF, Gemini will summarize the contents and suggest relevant actions, like “draft a sample proposal” from a brief or “list interview questions” from a resume, allowing you to take the next step with just a click.
Build apps more quickly and easily using new GitHub integrations in Gemini app and Google Chat, and an upgraded Gemini Canvas
For developers, we're streamlining workflows with deeper integrations between Google Workspace and GitHub. The Gemini app now connects to GitHub so you can manage your repositories, issues, and pull requests without switching contexts. This integration gives Gemini the context of your codebase, helping you to understand your code, improve it, write new code, and debug existing code more easily.
We’ve also updated the GitHub Chat app in Google Chat, bringing notifications and actions directly into your conversations so you can stay on top of your development projects and collaborate with your product team.

We're also expanding Gemini Canvas, the creative space in Gemini, with new functionality so you can design engaging web pages, or generate infographics to help you learn.
